ആദ്യമായി നല്ല കരുത്തുള്ള മുളക് തൈകള്‍ വേണം പറിച്ചു നടാന്‍. ഏത് തരം മുളക് വെച്ചാലും മുളക് കൃഷി നന്നായി വരന്‍ കുറച്ച കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാല്‍ മതിയാകും. മുളക് ജോഡിയായി നടുന്നത് ഗുണം ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് പറയുന്നു. രണ്ടു മുളക് വീതം കരുത്തോടെ വളരുമത്രേ. പിന്നെ നമ്മള്‍ മണ്ണില്‍ ആണ് നടുന്നതെങ്കില്‍ നീര്‍വാര്‍ച്ചയുള്ള സ്ഥലത്ത് ചെയ്യാന്‍ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണം. കാരണം ഏരിയ കുറവുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ വെള്ളം കെട്ടിനിന്ന് ഫംഗസ് പോലുള്ള രോഗങ്ങള്‍ മുളക് കൃഷിക്ക് സംഭവിക്കാന്‍ സാധ്യതാ ഏറെയുണ്ട്.മുളക് പിടിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ കഞ്ഞിവെള്ളം വച്ചിരുന്ന് പുളിപ്പിച്ച് മൂന്നിരട്ടി വെള്ളം ചേര്‍ത്ത് ചുവട്ടിലും വല്ലപ്പോഴും അല്‍പം കൂടി നേര്‍പ്പിച്ച് ഇലയിലും ഒഴിക്കണം. നല്ലൊരു കീടനാശിനിയും വളര്‍ച്ചാ പ്രേരകവും വളവുമാണ് കഞ്ഞിവെള്ളം.
