• നടുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് തൈകൾ സ്ട്രെപ്റ്റോസൈക്ലിൻ ലായനിയിൽ അര മണിക്കൂർ മുക്കിവയ്ക്കുന്നതും നല്ലതാണ്.
• തൈകൾ നടുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് നിലം ഉഴുതുമറിച്ച് (വായുസഞ്ചാരത്തിനായി) സെന്റിന് 10 ഗ്രാം എന്ന തോതിൽ ബ്ലീച്ചിംഗ് പൗഡർ ചേർക്കുക.
• അണുബാധയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, ഒരു ശതമാനം ബോർഡോ മിശ്രിതം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മൂന്ന് ഗ്രാം കോപ്പർ ഓക്സിക്ലോറൈഡ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരു ഗ്രാം സ്ട്രെപ്റ്റോസൈക്ലിൻ ആറ് ലിറ്റർ വെള്ളത്തിൽ കലക്കി തളിക്കുക – ഇതിലേതെങ്കിലും ചെടിയുടെ ചുവട്ടിൽ തളിച്ചാൽ രോഗം നിയന്ത്രിക്കാം.
• രണ്ടാഴ്ചയിലൊരിക്കൽ സ്യൂഡോമോണസ് ലായനി (20 ഗ്രാം ഒരു ലിറ്റർ വെള്ളത്തിൽ) തളിച്ച് ബാക്ടീരിയ വാട്ടം ചികിത്സിക്കാം
