ചേന കൃഷിയിൽ നല്ല വിളവ് ലഭിക്കാൻ കൃഷിയുടെ ശെരിയായ രീതി

കേരളത്തിൽ സുലഭമായി വളരുന്ന ഒരു കിഴങ്ങുവിളയാണ് ചേന. ഒരില മാത്രമുള്ള ചെടിയാണ് ചേന. മലയാളികൾക്ക് ഒഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടാൻ പറ്റാത്ത ഒരു വിളയാണ്‌ ചേന. സാമ്പാർ ,അവിയൽ, മെഴുക്കുപുരട്ടി, കാളൻ, എരിശ്ശേരി തുടങ്ങിയ എല്ലാ വിഭവങ്ങളിലും ചേന ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. വിത്തുനട്ട് ഏകദേശം 6-7 മാസം ആകുമ്പോൾ വിളവെടുക്കാം. ഒരു ഉഷ്ണകാല വിളയാണ്‌. ചേനയിൽ ഒരുപാട് പോഷകഗുണങ്ങൾ അടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ദഹനസമ്പദ്ധമായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് ചേന നല്ലൊരു പരിഹാരമാർഗ്ഗമാണ്. പ്രസവാനന്തര മരുന്നുകൾക്കും ചേന ഉപയോഗിക്കാറുണ്ട്.ചേനയിൽ ധാരാളം നാരുകൾ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ മലാബന്ധം പോലുള്ള രോഗങ്ങൾ മാറുവാൻ വളരെ അധികം സഹായകരമാകുന്നു. ചേന നമുക്ക് വീടുകളിൽ വളരെ എളുപ്പത്തിൽ കൃഷി ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിക്കും. എന്നാലും നമുക്ക് കൂടുതൽ വിളവ് ലഭിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ ശെരിയായ രീതിയിൽ കൃഷി ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. അതെങ്ങനെ എന്നാൽ നല്ല വലുപ്പമുള്ള ചേന എടുക്കുക. അതിനെ നാലായോ അന്ജായോ മുറിച്ചെടുക്കുക. അതിന്റെ മുള നോക്കി മുറിക്കാൻ ശ്രെമിക്കുക. അങ്ങനെ മുറിച്ചെടുത്തിനു ശേഷം അതിനെ കുഴിയിലേക്ക് വെക്കാം. അതിനായി നമ്മൾ അടിയിലേക്ക് കുഴിക്കേണ്ട കാരണം ചേനയുടെ മുകൾ ഭാഗത്താണ് മുള പൊട്ടുന്നത്.കുഴി കൂടിയാൽ ചേനക്ക് വേണ്ടത്ര വലുപ്പം കിട്ടില്ല. നമുക്ക് ചേന നാടുവനായി ചിന്തേരു ഇട്ടു നടുന്നത് നല്ലതാണ്. ചേനക്ക് നല്ല വലുപ്പം കിട്ടും. മണ്ണിന് ഇളക്കം ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ പോലും വലുപ്പം കിട്ടും. ശെഷം ചാണപൊടിയും എല്ലുപൊടിയും ഇട്ടു കൊടുക്കുക. എല്ലുപൊടി കുറച്ച് മതിയാകും. ശേഷം വളം മൂടുന്ന രീതിയിൽ മണ്ണിട്ടു കൊടുക്ക. അതിന്റെ മുകളിൽ പിന്നു അറപ്പ് പൊടി ഇട്ടുകൊടുക്കുക.ശേഷം മുകളിൽ പിന്നെയും മണ്ണിട്ട് കൊടുക്ക. ചെന്തെരു ഇട്ടു കൊടുക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ തണുപ്പ് കിട്ടാനും വളരെ അധികം ഉപകാരപ്പെടും. മഴയില്ലാത്ത സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ വെള്ളം ഒഴിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുക ആഴ്ചയിൽ രണ്ടുതവണയെങ്കിലും. കാലാവസ്ഥ അനുസരിച്ച് വളം ചെയ്ത കൊടുക്കുക
