ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്ത് കേരളത്തിലുടനീളം കാബേജ് കൃഷിയ്ക്ക് പ്രചാരം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് . പച്ച നിറത്തിനു പുറമേ ചുവപ്പും പർപിളും നിറങ്ങളിൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ കാബേജ് കാണപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്. ഇത് ഒരു ശീതകാല വിളയാണ് .ധാരാളം പോഷകഗുണങ്ങൾ ഉള്ള ഒരു പച്ചക്കറിയുമാണ്. കാബേജ് ഗ്രോ ബാഗിൽ മാത്രമല്ല നിലത്തും കൃഷി ചെയാം.ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്ത് കേരളത്തിലുടനീളം കാബേജ് കൃഷിയ്ക്ക് പ്രചാരം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് . പച്ച നിറത്തിനു പുറമേ ചുവപ്പും പർപിളും നിറങ്ങളിൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ കാബേജ് കാണപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്.ഇത് ഒരു ശീതകാല വിളയാണ് .ധാരാളം പോഷകഗുണങ്ങൾ ഉള്ള ഒരു പച്ചക്കറിയുമാണ്. കാബേജ് ഗ്രോ ബാഗിൽ മാത്രമല്ല നിലത്തും കൃഷി ചെയാം. നടീൽ സമയം സെപ്റ്റംബർ -ഒക്ടോബർ മാസങ്ങൾ ആണ്വിത്തുകൾ ട്രേയിൽ പാകി മുളപ്പിച്ചു തൈ ആക്കി ഒരു 4-5 ഇലകൾ ആകുമ്പോൾ മാറ്റി ബാഗിലോ നിലത്തോ നടാം. നല്ല വെയിൽ കിട്ടുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു വേണം നടാൻ. ബാഗിൽ ആണെങ്കിൽ നല്ല വെയിൽ കിട്ടുന്ന സ്ഥലം നോക്കി വയ്ക്കണം.നിലത്തു നടുമ്പോൾ ചാലുപോലെ എടുത്തു അതിന്റ ഒത്ത നടുവിൽ നടണം. നടുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് ചാണകപ്പൊടി, വേപ്പിൻ പിണ്ണാക്ക്, എല്ലുപൊടി, കടലപ്പിണ്ണാക്ക് ചേർത്ത് മണ്ണ് നല്ല പോലെ കിളച്ചു അതിൽ വേണം നടാൻ.നട്ട് രണ്ടു നേരവും നനച്ചു കൊടുക്കണം. തൈ വളർന്നു പൊങ്ങുന്നതിനു അനുസരിച്ചു മണ്ണ് കൂട്ടി കൊടുക്കണം.ബാഗിൽ ആണെങ്കിലും ഇതുപോലെ തന്നെ നടുക. ഒരു ബാഗിൽ ഒരെണ്ണം വച്ചു നട്ടാൽ മതി. പൊങ്ങുന്നതിന് അനുസരിച്ചു വളങ്ങൾ ഇട്ടുകൊടുക്കണം . ഒപ്പം മണ്ണും ഇട്ടു കൊടുക്കണം. കടലപ്പിണ്ണാക്ക്, പച്ച ചാണകം എന്നിവ ഇടാം. പച്ച ചാണകം പുളിപ്പിച്ചതാണ് ഒഴിക്കേണ്ടത്. അതുപോലെ ചാരം, ചാണകപ്പൊടി എന്നിവ മിക്സ് ചെയ്തു ഇട്ടുകൊടുക്കാം.ഇടക്ക് സ്യൂഡോമോണസ് ചുവട്ടിൽ ഒഴിച്ച് കൊടുക്കുക അതുപോലെ തളിച്ചും കൊടുക്കാം. പിന്നെ വളർച്ചയിൽ സഹായിക്കുന്ന ഫിഷ് അമിനോ ആസിഡ് പോലുള്ളവ തളിച്ച് കൊടുക്കുന്നത് നല്ലതാണ്.

കീടങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാവുമ്പോൾ പ്രതോരോധിക്കാനായി വെളുത്തുള്ളി കായം കാന്താരി മുളക് സമം എടുത്തു അരച്ച് കലക്കി സ്പ്രേ ചെയ്തുകൊടുക്കുക.
